LES ENFANTS DU SEIGNEUR

Les artistes souffrent toujours

devant les portes trop lourdes du ciel,

et leurs doigts

sont toujours trop courts

pour toucher les étoiles.

Eux seuls auront droit

à l'espace éternel et infini

entre leur cœur et Dieu,

là où

les artistes sont

les enfants qui pleurent

aux portes du Seigneur...

Artists always suffer

before the too-heavy gates of heaven,

and their fingers

are always too short

to touch the stars.

They alone shall have the right

to the eternal and infinite space

between their heart and God,

there where

artists are

the children who weep

at the doors of the Lord...
