Logline

After his feminine half, Ishah, is killed by Satan's trap in an illusory castle, a young boy must undertake an alchemical journey through a black-and-white house that is his own fragmented mind, reuniting the pieces of his soul to resurrect her.

Après que sa moitié féminine, Ishah, a été tuée par le piège de Satan dans un château illusoire, un jeune garçon doit entreprendre un voyage alchimique à travers une maison en noir et blanc qui n'est autre que son propre esprit fragmenté, réunissant les morceaux de son âme pour la ressusciter.

Synopsis

Adam and Ishah, two children as "one single being" bound by a mystical serpent-scarf, have their primordial unity shattered. Lured into an illusory "neon-palace", they are corrupted by a grotesque feast. Their sacred bond "writhes and disintegrates into... ash", and Ishah liquefies into death. The boy awakens alone in the alchemical Nigredo: a black-and-white house drawn with "nervous, quivering lines", a metaphor for his fragmented psyche. Guided by Ishah's voice, he must achieve the Great Work: purifying himself by reintegrating the luminous fragments of his own soul. Only once whole can he face Ishah's body in the basement and, with a kiss, transmute his perception, resurrect her, and restore the divine, colored unity.

Adam et Ishah, deux enfants formant « un seul être » unis par une écharpe-serpent mystique, voient leur unité primordiale fracassée. Attirés dans un « palais de néons » illusoire, ils sont corrompus par un festin grotesque. Leur lien sacré « se tord et se désintègre en… cendres », et Ishah se liquéfie dans la mort. Le garçon s'éveille seul dans le Nigredo alchimique : une maison en noir et blanc tracée de « lignes nerveuses et frémissantes », métaphore de sa psyché fragmentée. Guidé par la voix d'Ishah, il doit accomplir le Grand Œuvre : se purifier en réintégrant les fragments lumineux de sa propre âme. Seulement une fois entier pourra-t-il affronter le corps d'Ishah dans la cave et, par un baiser, transmuer sa perception, la ressusciter, et restaurer l'unité divine et colorée.
