ROIS

Je suis sur le chemin, le chemin noir,

dans un tunnel obscur, seul.

Je marche aveugle

comme un Œdipe roi,

pendu à sa résurrection

sur l'arbre de mes vanités.

Le monde est sourd

et éclaté de néons

sur les sols corrompus.

Je saigne encore,

percé,

troué,

cloué par les monstres

que les hommes ont engendrés.

Cherchant leur royaume,

en tuant le père,

violant la mère,

infestant la cité.

Blasphème !

Il faut connaître les nuits de l'âme

pour connaître les puits des hommes.

Un jour viendra la lumière

dans l'œil crevé de l'humanité,

pour que l'autre voit

sa désolation...



KINGS

I walk the path, the dark path,

in an obscure tunnel, alone.

I walk blind

like an Oedipus the king,

hanging from his resurrection

on the tree of my vanities.

The world is deaf

and shattered with neon lights

upon the corrupted ground.

I bleed still,

pierced,

riddled,

nailed by the monsters

that men have bred.

Seeking their kingdom,

by killing the father,

raping the mother,

infesting the city.

Blasphemy!

One must know the nights of the soul

to know the wells of men.

One day the light will come

into the gouged eye of humanity,

that the other might see

its own desolation...
